Sixth NEES Annual Meeting

The George E. Brown, Jr. Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation (NEES) has been providing unprecedented opportunities for large-scale collaborative earthquake engineering research for four years. The 6th Annual Meeting will provide an opportunity for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to discuss the past, present, and potential benefit of NEES research to the built environment.

Join us to hear the latest developments and connect with peers from across the nation and around the world. The 6th Annual Meeting was held in Portland, Oregon from June 18 - 20, 2008.

Fifth NEES Annual Meeting

NEES Research & Earthquake Engineering Practice: Strengthening the Connections
There are two positive trends reshaping our response to seismic events: the earthquake engineering community has made great design gains while the NSF-supported NEES Collaboration and NEES Research programs are generating unprecedented opportunities to expand our understanding of earthquake and building dynamics. This year's NEES Annual Meeting, held from June 19 - 21, 2007, provided a forum for researchers and practitioners to learn from one another and generate an even bigger impact.
