NEESR 08 Solicitation Webinar

In the NEESR FY08 solicitation (NSF 08-519), the NSF will be awarding approximately $9 million for research proposals to use the NEES infrastructure to advance knowledge discovery and innovation for earthquake and tsunami loss reduction of our nation's civil infrastructure, and to develop new experimental simulation techniques and instrumentation for NEES. In this free, hour-long webinar Joy Pauschke from the NSF will discuss the latest solicitation, and Steve McCabe from NEESinc will provide information about the NEES network and provide suggestions on writing effective proposals.

NSF will discuss:

the key components of the latest NEESR solicitation

changes from previous solicitations

NEESinc will provide:

an overview of NEES facilities
guidelines about how to interface with NEESinc and NEES Equipment Sites
tips to write effective proposals for research and EOT activities
